About Us

A Hub for Contemporary Culture

The HayArt Cultural Center is a unique multidisciplinary platform located in the heart of Yerevan. Since its establishment in 1997, it has served as a bridge between Armenian traditions and modern artistic innovations. We are dedicated to presenting visual arts, photography, experimental theater, and music.

Our Mission

We aim to foster cultural exchange by hosting international exhibitions and workshops. HayArt is not just a museum; it is a living space where artists from East and West meet, collaborate, and create.

The Architecture

The building itself is a masterpiece of Soviet Modernism (Brutalism). Designed in the 1980s by architects Jim Torosyan and Gevorg Aramyan, the structure is famous for its five monolithic concrete cylinders that appear to roll down the natural slope of the cascade area near Mashtots Avenue.
